What have been your key strengths throughout this 21- year journey?

My key strengths throughout this 21-year journey have been self-confidence, unwavering determination, and a belief in pushing myself to constantly reflect on my actions and goals. I stay positive, and motivated, and I recognise the untapped potential within myself. I have a knack for recognising opportunities and capitalising on them, even in challenging situations. I strongly believe in the immense potential of each individual and our responsibility to achieve it. This mindset, along with my ability to motivate myself and others, has greatly contributed to my success.

What were some major challenges you faced during your journey to becoming CEO?

During my journey to becoming CEO, I faced significant challenges. Firstly, introducing the concept of data and analytics to customers when it was not widely understood or valued required extensive effort. Secondly, building a team that recognised the importance of data and master data management was another hurdle. I had to create frameworks and processes to guide the organisation’s data transformation. Lastly, managing impatience in implementing ideas and solutions swiftly proved to be an ongoing challenge that I am actively addressing.

What motivates you as a leader every day?

I draw inspiration from the untapped potential in every person, firmly believing in their capacity for greatness. Identifying overlooked opportunities, strategising in challenging circumstances, and maintaining a positive mindset drive my motivation. Through self-reflection, I cultivate selfmotivation and aim to inspire and uplift others with positivity and motivation.

What are your growth plans and vision for PiLog Group?

PiLog Group has achieved organic growth through customer-centric approaches and aims to become a renowned brand in data and analytics. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of data lifecycle management solutions and prioritise improving the customer experience. By solidifying our position as a leading industry player through continuous improvement and robust support, we strive to achieve our vision.

What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses?

I thrive in collaborative environments, leveraging my strong interpersonal skills, extensive knowledge, and positive energy to work effectively with others. However, I am aware of one of my weaknesses—I sometimes struggle with impatience when it comes to turning ideas into tangible solutions quickly. While this impatience can be perceived as a weakness, I am actively working on managing it by aligning my expectations with realistic timelines and staying focused on relevance.

What has been your biggest fear as a CEO?

As CEO, my greatest fear is losing talented individuals from our organisation and having their expertise diverge. I also fear falling short of product success, global compliance, and missed opportunities. However, I remain optimistic, doing my best within my abilities, embracing the principles of karma and giving back, and trusting that our efforts will yield positive outcomes.

How do you promote creativity, innovation, and learning in your team?

To foster creativity, innovation, and learning within my team, I conduct weekly Business Transformation Programme (BTP) sessions. These 20–30-minute sessions involve sharing motivational content and facilitating learning opportunities. All team members have the opportunity to contribute, with key members often taking the lead. Treating everyone equally and offering upskilling and reskilling programmes are essential for cultivating a culture of continuous learning and growth.

What is your vision for PiLog Group and yourself?

My vision is to be an industry thought leader, sharing knowledge and expertise to benefit others. I speak at conferences and universities, offering career guidance and discussing analytics and data science. For PiLog Group, I envision simplifying processes and technologies, making them AI-powered and processdependent. My goal is to ensure efficiency and effectiveness through data-driven systems, reducing reliance on individuals.
