What key lessons did you learn transitioning to the CEO role, and how have you applied them in your current position?

During my transition to the CEO role, I gained valuable insights that have shaped my approach. One significant lesson was recognising the significance of operations and establishing a strong core team. In the past, I believed that I could personally handle certain responsibilities, but as a CEO, I understood the importance of surrounding myself with capable individuals. This realisation led me to prioritise setting goals, devising strategies, and effectively delegating tasks. Additionally, I learned that a CEO’s agenda should encompass all aspects of the organisation, valuing every department and function equally for overall success. Embracing the art of letting go and empowering others to assume responsibilities proved to be a pivotal lesson that enhanced the organisation’s functionality.

How do you foster a culture of innovation within your company and leverage it to engage stakeholders and deliver innovative solutions?

At Interarch, we prioritise innovation as a fundamental element of our offerings. We cultivate a culture of innovation by empowering employees at every level to think creatively and enhance processes and products. We foster an environment that encourages exploration, risktaking, and learning from success and failures. By aligning innovation with key performance indicators, we ensure its continuous emphasis and measurable impact within our company. This commitment to innovation not only engages our workforce but also results in the development of cutting-edge products and services that instil a sense of pride in our customers.

As the CEO of Interarch, what is your biggest fear? How do you ensure that your team remains engaged and motivated?

Ensuring the continuous engagement and motivation of every team member is a significant concern as the CEO of Interarch. To address this, a key focus is placed on instilling a sense of purpose and individual responsibility within the team. Each member must comprehend the significance of their contributions and how they directly impact the growth of the company, the community, and society at large. By cultivating a culture of purpose and diligence, the aim is to maintain high levels of engagement among team members. Furthermore, establishing personal connections with team members and gaining an understanding of their individual challenges are prioritised. By offering support in both their professional and personal lives, a supportive and motivating work environment is created. This approach fosters a sense of camaraderie and ensures that team members feel valued and encouraged in their endeavours.

What is your approach to decision-making, and what factors do you consider ensuring optimal outcomes for the organisation?

I approach decision-making with a comprehensive methodology. I begin by thoroughly analysing the available data and seeking input from team members and subject matter experts. By fostering open discussions and embracing diverse perspectives, I ensure that all aspects of a decision are carefully considered. While data is essential, I also recognise the value of intuition and experience in the decision-making process. Striking the right timing is crucial, as I aim to make timely decisions without rushing. Additionally, I carefully evaluate the longterm impact of each decision on the company, its employees, stakeholders, and society. This holistic approach enables me to make well-informed decisions that align with our organisation’s goals.

What is your vision for Interarch, and how do you plan to lead the organisation towards its realisation?

I envision Interarch as a global leader in sustainable and innovative building solutions. To realise this vision, we prioritise research and development to enhance our offerings. Expanding into international markets and establishing strategic partnerships are also key to our growth strategy. As a leader, I inspire my team to embrace change, adapt to market dynamics, and foster a culture of continuous innovation. Through collaboration and open communication, we are well-equipped to overcome future challenges and successfully achieve our vision.
