Never gift an individual from a company. Gifts should be gifted only to a representative from the company.

Gifts should never be a way too expensive else the company will feel obligatory to give something in return.

Gifts should always be gifted once the business meeting has reached the final negotiation. Gifting before the meeting make one feel awkward as bribery is considered a bane in Chinese business culture.

Gifting should represent exchange between the companies and not between individuals.

If the relation with the receiver is friendly in nature then one can accept expensive gift.

Gifts should only be gifted to the people of similar stature to avoid awkward situation between the one who offers and receives the gift.

Gifts should be only be gifted to the chief representative from the company.
