China Commemorates 100th Anniversary of Late Procurator General’s Birth

China Commemorates 100th Anniversary of Late Procurator General Birth, A conference was organized on Friday in Beijing to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of late procurator-general Liu Fuzhi, with senior Communist Party of China (CPC) leader attending the event. Meng Jianzhu, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, who was present at the gathering, called upon people to follow the footsteps of this late procurator-general.

Along with being an amazing leader of China’s political and legal sphere, Liu Fuzhi was also a member of the 12th Central Committee of the CPC and worked as procurator-general of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate from 1988 to 1993.

He passed away in 2013 due to illness at the age of 96. At the conference, Meng Jianzhu inspired people by saying that Party members should also learn from Wan’s commitment to the Party and his unfaltering belief in following the truth.
