LifeDoor The US-Based Startup Introduced a Revolutionary Device that Automatically Closes Home’s Doors in the Event of a Fire
LifeDoor The US-Based Startup at CES 2018 has introduced a revolutionary technology that sits on your doors and automatically closes it in the event of a fire. A simple gadget that acts like closing your door while you sleep and closes it automatically when smoke is detected.
At CES 2018, US-based startup LifeDoor showcased the latest prototype of their smart self-designed life-saving device. This patent-pending technology smoothly amalgamates with smoke detectors in your homes to automatically close your door in the event of a fire. The closed door will act as a barrier against spreading and can slow down the spreading flames, smoke, and heat. This life saving and firefighter approved device protects you from noxious fumes and poisonous smokes. The device is quite simple and easily gets installed on any ordinary door by dropping it into the door’s hinge and secures it to the door with nails and screws.
In the event of a fire, LifeDoor simply performs three life-saving actions: first, by closing the door that protects the occupants from noxious fumes and toxic smokes, second by illuminating the room as soon as it detects the smoke that allows the occupants to safely handle worst situation and third by producing a security alarm to make them alert again if they didn’t hear the first smoking alarm. The gadget works by opening the door until it hears the tone of a triggered smoke alarm. But if the gadget hears the smoke alarm it closes the door and illuminates the room and sends out its own security alarm to wake the room’s occupants.
The LifeDoor’s Ben Docksteader with their business partner Joel Sellinger decided to make a firefighter that an ordinary man could install easily in their homes and protects them during fire made.
