What was the boldest decision you made in your entrepreneurial journey, and how did it impact your business?

Taking the leap to introduce hot tubs and swim spas in 2020, during the peak of COVID-19, was undoubtedly my boldest entrepreneurial decision. In a market like India, where the pool industry accounts for less than 1% of the global market, managing high-value, diverse inventory was a formidable challenge. However, this move transformed our business, positioning us as pioneers in a niche yet promising segment.

How do you manage the challenges of running two ventures at once?

Running two ventures simultaneously has never seemed complex to me, as both serve the same target audience. I maintain a structured schedule, allocating dedicated time for each venture to ensure both receive the necessary attention. Establishing clear goals, objectives, and KPIs for each company helps streamline focus. We optimise resources by sharing infrastructure and technology across both businesses. Building capable, autonomous teams is crucial— empowering them to take ownership and make decisions ensures both ventures run efficiently and independently, allowing me to focus on overall strategic growth without micromanaging.

What’s the most challenging project you’ve tackled, and how did you ensure its success?

Every project brings its own set of challenges, but the installation of 40 fibreglass pools in Qatar in 2021 stands out. From overcoming logistical hurdles of transporting large, single-piece pools through India’s roads to winning the bid against 10 other vendors, it was a complex task. Coordinating travel arrangements, executing on-site installation, and providing extensive training for maintenance personnel were key to ensuring the project’s success. This experience not only pushed our limits but also reinforced our commitment to delivering exceptional results, no matter the scale or complexity.

What activities help you recharge and stay inspired beyond your professional life?

To recharge and keep the creative juices flowing, I love connecting with like-minded people through hobbies or volunteering. I’m also a big fan of travel—exploring new places and soaking in different cultures always sparks new ideas and gives me a fresh outlook. It’s my way of stepping away, recharging, and coming back stronger.
