Amazon said – it does not use data from third-party sellers to come up with its own product. At the same time, it does use ‘aggregated data’ to inform its private label brands. Private data is used by Amazon to shape and promote its own branded goods. Private label products are created by Amazon or partners and sold on Amazon’s website under an exclusive and specific brand name. Amazon is commonly known for ameliorating the number of private-label brands it sells in the past 3 years. Now it offers roughly 158,000 private branded products- said company.
