Ashok Leyland, India’s Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer, announced the appointment of Sanjay V Jorapur as President and head of Human Resource. He will replace Amanpreet Singh, who is currently working in the same position as he will move to a senior role at Hinduja Group in Mumbai.

Sanjay V Jorapur is a veteran HR with leadership skills in engineering, technology and automation. Before joining Ashok Leyland, he was President Of Group Human Resource at HFCL Group.
With his rich skills, the company is expecting to bring considerable revenue and growth from Mr Jorapur, and hopefully, he will succeed in taking the business to significant heights.

Besides this appointment, there is a high-profile resignation. Dr Andrew C Palmer left his non-executive non-independent director position from the Ashok Leyland board for personal reasons. He joined the company in November 2015 as an independent director and served until July 1, 2021. Then on July 7, he was appointed as a non-executive non-independent director.
Earlier in June of this year, Anuj Kharuria, the business’s chief operating officer, resigned from his position. He spent more than 12 years in this organisation.
