Despite his success, Jinu felt compelled to address the brain drain affecting India, motivating his return to establish FutureIK Technologies in 2022. Under Jinu’s leadership, FutureIK Technologies has emerged as a trailblazer in the digital signage industry. What were your main challenges shifting from corporate to starting your own business, and how did you turn them into opportunities?

Starting FutureIK Technologies came with significant challenges, notably in financial management and overcoming societal scepticism in Kerala. Convincing my family and community of our vision while risking two years without income was daunting. In Kerala, there’s scepticism about the success of younger entrepreneurs or those without extensive experience. Building a capable and dedicated team posed another hurdle; my initial hiring inexperience taught me the importance of passion and commitment in team members. These trials shaped my expertise in financial prudence, cultural navigation, and team synergy. Transparent goal-setting, fostering collaboration, and iterative refinement were pivotal in overcoming these challenges and establishing FutureIK Technologies as a leader in digital signage innovation.

How do you envision the future of your startup?

I envision FutureIK Technologies as the premier choice for innovative digital signage solutions, redefining the industry with interactive CMS offerings that set new benchmarks. For example, our rapid deployment updates 100,000 screens in under 10 seconds, unmatched by competitors. We simplify processes so clients can focus on core activities without technological complexities. In India’s burgeoning digital signage market, we aim to lead by delivering impactful brand communications. Our commitment to continuous evolution ensures we meet evolving client needs while setting standards for innovation and efficiency in the industry.

How do you manage innovation while building connections with new team members and inspiring them?

As a CEO, my greatest strengths are visioning, sensemaking, relationship-building, inventiveness, humility, and adaptability. These qualities, honed over two decades of experience, have nurtured a positive and inclusive work environment. Individuals feel valued, motivated, and engaged in pursuing our company’s goals.

What does entrepreneurship mean to you, and what's the toughest yet most fulfilling aspect of it?

Entrepreneurship is about innovating to drive societal change, whether through groundbreaking ideas or incremental improvements. It involves taking risks, navigating challenges like societal scepticism, and persistently pursuing goals despite setbacks. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing the tangible impact of our solutions on clients and communities. It’s about creating value, solving real-world problems, and contributing positively to society’s advancement. The journey requires resilience and vision, but seeing our ideas come to life and make a difference makes every challenge worthwhile.

How did you differentiate your brand in tech's rapid evolution while prioritising customer needs?

My client-centric strategy distinguishes FutureIK Technologies in the tech sector. By prioritising client needs, we tailor solutions to enhance user experiences and operational efficiency. Continuously enhancing my leadership and communication skills is a priority. While proficient, I seek to learn from industry leaders, participate in webinars, and attend workshops. Networking is another focus, allowing me to gain insights and share knowledge effectively. These improvements are crucial for better team management, superior client solutions, and fostering an innovative environment at FutureIK Technologies.

Can you discuss any upcoming projects or initiatives at Goodlii that you are particularly excited about?

Balancing innovation and team connection is pivotal. I prioritise vision, trust, and empowerment. Empowering team autonomy fuels innovation, while continuous learning through training and mentorship supports growth. Outside of work, what hobbies and interests do you pursue?

I’m passionate about networking and mentorship. Building connections helps me gain insights and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing expertise to guide them. I believe in giving back, fostering innovation through collaboration, and staying updated on technological trends for product integration

What legacy do you aim to leave in the tech industry and in leadership?

Years from now, I hope to be recognised for my contributions to the tech industry and for inspiring young entrepreneurs in India. My aim is to leave a legacy of resilience, innovation, and leadership that encourages others to pursue their dreams despite challenges. I want to be remembered for pushing boundaries and making a positive impact on our nation’s technological landscape
