Share your journey from the beginning to becoming President at Kimpex Flow India, emphasising pivotal career moments.

Commencing as a trainee engineer, I swiftly ascended with biennial promotions, mastering diverse facets of the industry, from orchestrating product launches to navigating marketing intricacies and cultivating strategic partnerships. The game-changer arrived in 2022, when I assumed the presidency at Kimpex. This transition, a resounding acknowledgment of seized opportunities and unwavering support, symbolises not only personal growth but an evolving understanding of the intricacies within the industry. Guided by gratitude and humility, my leadership approach resonates powerfully in steering through the dynamic landscape of challenges and innovations.

In this dynamic industry, what major challenges have you encountered, and how did you overcome them?

When in the driver’s seat, I prioritise decentralised decision-making, empowering teams to autonomously make critical decisions. It’s not merely about assigning responsibilities but cultivating accountability. In a recent project, the team took charge of key decisions, from budgeting to KPI setting and ideation to execution, resulting in an innovative product launch that surpassed expectations. This approach isn’t just about innovation on paper; it’s about nurturing future leaders. Decentralisation, more than a buzzword, is the backbone of a dynamic and responsive organisational culture. It’s not just a strategy in my book; it’s a pragmatic tool for unleashing collective potential, driving innovation, and instilling a sense of ownership within the team.

What strategies have you employed to drive growth and success within your organisations?

Working with the Mittal group has provided significant learning. The group’s strengths lie in fast decision-making, effective delegation, and fostering a culture of trust. Access to guidance and support from the Mittal family has played a crucial role in the group’s continuous growth and success.

What excites you most about the crucial elements in your industry, and how do you plan to leverage them for success?

The surge of green fuels in our industry, with over 1.20 crore domestic consumers, 40,000 commercial connections, 18,000 industrial connections, and 6258 CNG stations, excites me. Beyond a trend, it’s a substantial step towards environmental conservation, crucial in places like Delhi where pollution is pressing. The transition to PNG/CNG not only benefits the environment but also positively impacts our economy by reducing imports. The synergy of environmental consciousness and economic prudence makes green fuels genuinely exciting. At Kimpex, we actively participate, offering a range of gas-making products to contribute to a more sustainable energy landscape and support the broader movement towards greener practices.

As a leader in the energy sector, what key principles or values do you prioritise?

I prioritise principles and values that define my leadership approach. I believe in providing comprehensive solutions rather than just delivering products, fostering enduring relationships with clients. Offering consultation services is integral to this, guiding clients in decision-making beyond product transactions. At Kimpex, our commitment extends beyond sales, providing lifetime support through aftersale services, reinforcing our dedication to long-term partnerships and client satisfaction. What strengths of yours have played a crucial role in your success?

My journey from starting at the bottom to leading a team has shaped my perspective. I excel at problem-solving, possess a keen entrepreneurial spirit, and have a knack for figuring things out. These strengths have been instrumental in handling challenges and driving positive changes in my work.
