The recent sources claim that Google’s parent company, Alphabet is all set to take over Fitbit. The reports add that there is nothing certain that any negotiations between Google and Fitbit can lead to a deal. Additionally, the report added that the exact price Google offered to Fitbit is something that can’t be figured out.

Fitbit is a self-made name in the section of wearables that aims at producing cheap and elegant fitness tracker devices. Since 2009, it has produced simple clips or bracelets, smartwatches that log human activities and sync it to an app. However, the purchase of Fitbit will be the second latest acquisition of Google in the wearable sector. Earlier this year Google had spent an enormous amount of $40 million on mystery smartwatch technology from Fossil Group which is yet to be out in the market.
