McAfee, a global computer security company, announced the appointment of Deirdre Findlay as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In her role, she will oversee worldwide marketing and communication efforts & reports and will report to Greg Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer, McAfee.
Findlay has 25 years of professional career. She joins McAfee from Conde Nast, where she was the Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of consumer revenue, leading all consumer marketing fields for brands such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, and The New Yorker.
In her tenure, she has been at the epicentre of digital transformation and growth for brands, including Conde Nast, Stitch Fix, Google and eBay. McAfee is expecting an increase in growth and brand reach globally with her expertise in consumer insights and acumen in digital marketing.
Earlier, she was a Chief Marketing Officer At Stitch Fix and Senior marketer at Google and eBay. With respect to her appointment, Greg Johnson, CEO of McAfee, said ━ “Deirdre is a changemaker, brand innovator, and an accomplished leader. While at Conde Nast, she was named to the Adweek 50 list in 2021 for her efforts in growing the publisher’s total subscription by 16% year and commerce revenue by 42% year over year.
