Shirin’s professional journey began after she graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Delhi University, followed by a Master’s from Amity University, Noida. Her early career saw her taking on roles in managed services, financial services, management consulting, FMCG and technology firms. She has worked with renowned brands such as Genpact, NatWest (RBS), Deloitte Consulting, and Moody’s. 

Throughout her career, Shirin has faced numerous challenges, particularly in navigating the complexities of human capital management during times of significant change. One of the most notable challenges was during the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted traditional HR functions globally. As Vice President – HR and Regional Partner for India at Moody’s Corporation, she had to realign HR processes to support a dispersed workforce, prioritise employee wellbeing, and manage the psychological impact of the pandemic.
