T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network will launch on Friday, announced on Monday morning by the company. Although it’s still too early to buy a phone with a 5G network, even though T-Mobile is taking orders for two new ones that include the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren. T-Mobile will turn on its 600 Mhz networks, which will cover almost most of the country. That’s quite impressive because the 5G networks you have heard about so far are only available in limited areas like in a small number of cities. Although, T-Mobile‘s network is using low-brand 5G, which means it is good to provide slightly boosted speed even inside the buildings and is available in far more places than what competitors offer.
Some of the 5G ultra wideband networks including AT&T and Verizon have fast speed but only when standing near a tower outside. But, you can expect a boost of about 50 Mbps with T-Mobile-PCMag said. Consequently, you might be able to use 150 Mbps if you have a 5G phone instead of 100 Mbps download speed on 4GLTE.
