  • Japan’s And India’s Relations Becoming Strong

The friendship between India and Japan is growing constantly. Both countries have pledged multiple billion-dollar projects in each other’s country. PM Narendra Modi and PM Fumio Kishida have been working closely to plan development in both countries.  India has pledged $5 billion dollars for investment in Japan whereas Japan has committed to invest more than $42 billion in the next 5 years. This will further benefit the relationship between India and Japan while developing infrastructure in both countries. 

  • Nvidia And Foxconn Ditches China 

The following news comes from America where tech giant Nvidia and iPhone manufacturer Foxconn have decided to work together on establishing the so-called AI factories. The decision comes after the US government imposed restrictions on importing chips to China after China restricted exports of metal used in chipmaking. The AI factories that are to be set up will focus on training robots, and autonomous vehicles and creating large language models. The trade restriction was a huge blow to Nvidia as it restricted the company from exporting its top-end A800 and H800 chips to the Chinese market. 

  • China Leads In Southeast Asian Support

In the last news, let’s have a look at what the former diplomat from Singapore has to say about India. In an interview, Kishore Mahbubani, a former Singaporean diplomat stated that India is far behind China when trading with Southeast Asia. He also stated that India is somewhat reluctant to the Southeast region of Asia and thinks of it as a backwater. This has allowed China to sign trade agreements with Southeast Asian countries which has created a vacuum of influence.
