Yellow.ai, an experience (TX) automation platform, has announced Neeru Mehta as its first chief human resource officer, CHRO, on Tuesday. The company aims to expand its plan globally and hire talent across verticals with this new member in the company.
In her new role, Mehta will be responsible for strengthening the employer branding and people culture, especially for new regions, and bolstering the leadership team that has grown by 50% across markets in the last two quarters, according to a statement.
While appointing Neeru Mehta, Raghu Ravinutala, CEO and CO-founder of Yellow.ai, said, “We are delighted to have Neeru on-board as first CHRO. As we scale rapidly across markets, our key priority is to build a future-ready organization that can navigate the opportunities and challenges of the conversational AI landscape”. Yellow.ai is already working with more than 700 employees and is set to cross 1000 employees by 2022. With the help of Neeru Mehta, the company will ramp up its hiring plans with the clear goal of replication of its people-first culture in the new market. The company is planning to expand its market in Southeast Asia, the US, the Middle East, Latin America, according to the reports.
Neeru Mehta, before joining Yellow-ai as CHRO, was Vice-president and Global Head-Organization Effectiveness at GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company. She also carried out senior leadership roles at HCL Technologies and Birlasoft. She has 22 years of experience in diverse roles, including HR, Consulting, Project Management, etc. Now she is going to play a new role with new responsibilities and new hopes.
