In the early mornings at Nalco Water India Ltd (a US-based company), a young Deepak Gangwar would move through the hum of machines and the scent of chemicals, absorbing lessons far beyond textbooks. What started as an industrial trainee role quickly became a classroom in discipline, precision, and the art of execution. Each task, each client interaction, taught him that real impact comes not from what you make, but from how you solve problems for others.

Over the years, Deepak’s journey moved from factory floors to boardrooms, from hands-on technical roles to consulting, sales leadership, and people management. Each step sharpened his perspective: success lies in outcomes, not processes, and leadership means building systems that empower others to excel. In 2018, he chose conviction over comfort, leaving a secure corporate path to pursue a vision that had been quietly taking shape for years.

In 2019, Deepak S. turned his vision into reality with the founding of HNW Global, a company focused on hygiene, water treatment, and large-scale water projects. Under his leadership, HNW has expanded nationwide, serving marquee clients in hygiene, including Devyani International, RK Group, Paradise Biryani, and Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, while in water treatment, partnering with Maruti Suzuki, Lulu Malls Group, Phoenix Malls Group, PepsiCo, and Paharpur Cooling, reaching over 10,000 QSR outlets. By introducing AI-driven monitoring tools, driving product innovation, and nurturing high-performing teams, Deepak has doubled revenues in three years, delivering measurable outcomes such as cost savings, improved compliance, and enhanced hygiene standards.

Our AI-enabled hygiene audit application brings transparency and consistency to QSR outlets, converting data into actionable insights that standardise processes, improve compliance, and identify gaps in real time. While AI drives efficiency and scale, human judgement remains crucial for ethics, leadership, and culture. The future lies in combining intelligent systems with responsible, trust-driven decision-making.

Which value underpins your professional journey?

I have always relied on a simple yet powerful principle: stay grounded in fundamentals while embracing change. Success comes from deep understanding, honest intent, and disciplined execution. Across technical, leadership, and entrepreneurial roles, I focus on listening first, ensuring solutions are informed and practical.

Transitioning from a structured corporate environment to entrepreneurship was one of my greatest challenges. Limited resources, absolute accountability, and the need to establish credibility without a recognised brand tested both patience and resilience. I overcame these hurdles by listening closely to customers, strengthening technical fundamentals, and building processes incrementally.
