Introduction
In his professional journey of over two decades, Alamjit Singh Sekhon has taken many brands and businesses to the next level. Having started his career with Trident as an HR, his journey to Bel has been very inspiring. Alamjit joined Bel as the 1st employee in India. He is the Commercial Director in charge of overall Bel India business. Prior to Bel, he successfully transformed brands such as Maggi and Kellogg’s.
In his leadership roles, he has been adept at various facets of business including sales & distribution, route to market strategies, business planning, innovation and new products launches. His innovative marketing strategies are a guiding light that can help transform a brand and business. For example, the Bel India team received 17 awards and honours for establishing The Laughing Cow brand, which is now ranked among the top three brands with several customers. During his tenure at Nestle, sales of Maggi Noodles tripled in India in seven years. Alamjit was also recognised at the ET Ascent Awards in 2023 as one of the business leaders of the year.
