What have your journey and experiences taught you about building trust?

When I look back on my journey from the University of Bradford to leading Eros Group, the biggest lesson has been that trust is earned through integrity, consistency, and transparency. My time abroad taught me discipline, accountability, and respect for diverse perspectives — values that continue to guide my conduct even today. In real estate, trust is the cornerstone of every relationship. Customers place immense faith in a developer’s word, often entrusting us with their lifelong savings. At Eros, we have always upheld that responsibility with transparency, timely delivery, and ethical governance. I’ve also learned the power of genuine communication — listening to stakeholders, understanding their expectations, and delivering beyond promise. Building trust is not a one-time achievement but a sustained commitment. It lives in every decision we make and every project we deliver, reinforcing the credibility that defines our brand and leadership.

How do you balance family legacy with modern demands like RERA and digital transformation?

Eros Group carries a rich legacy built on family values of integrity, trust, and long-term commitment — principles that have guided us for decades. At the same time, today’s real estate sector demands agility, digital adoption, and strict compliance with frameworks such as RERA. Balancing these two worlds has been both challenging and rewarding. The key lies in seeing tradition and innovation as complementary strengths. Our legacy lends us credibility and fosters lasting relationships, while modern systems, such as RERA compliance, digital monitoring, and asset monetisation, bring accountability and scale. My focus is on ensuring our evolution stays value-driven, that we innovate without losing our core ethos. This balance becomes seamless when a culture of adaptability is cultivated within the organisation. When people understand that innovation reinforces, rather than replaces, our foundational values, the transition feels natural, not like a juggle.

How do you balance creative vision with financial discipline to keep Eros ahead?

Over two decades in real estate, I have learned that balancing creativity with financial prudence is essential. Visionary design and sound financial discipline are not opposing forces; they complement each other. A project can only be iconic when it is both aesthetically inspiring and economically sustainable. At Eros, we begin every development with a clear financial framework while leaving ample room for innovation in architecture, technology, and user experience. I work closely with both design and finance teams to ensure every creative decision aligns with our long-term value and return objectives. By integrating data analytics, AI, and market intelligence into our planning, we make agile, evidence-based decisions. This disciplined yet forward-looking approach allows Eros to stay ahead of the curve, delivering excellence without compromising on fiscal responsibility.

How have awards inspired you to redefine luxury for everyday families?

Awards have been special, but I’ve never chased them. They’ve come from staying true to what I believe in. Every recognition, whether being named “Most Influential Indian” or “India’s Iconic Leader,” reminds me that success carries responsibility. It pushes me to keep reimagining what uber-luxury means for modern Indian families. Luxury, to me, is not about opulence or exclusivity. It’s about everyday comfort, thoughtful design, and quality that lasts. At Eros, we’ve tried to make luxury more inclusive — something people can experience daily through better spaces, smarter technology, and sustainable choices. While awards are gratifying, the real reward lies in seeing families enjoy homes that feel aspirational yet personal. That is the true definition of success, when luxury becomes part of everyday life.

Who has influenced your real estate journey the most, and what advice has stayed with you?

That would be my father. Watching him build Eros Group from the ground up gave me my earliest lessons in resilience, integrity, and the value of keeping one’s word. He had an extraordinary ability to balance ambition with empathy, to dream big while staying grounded in relationships and ethics. One piece of advice from him still guides me: “Never build just for today; build for generations.” Those words have shaped every major decision I’ve made. Whether it’s adopting new technologies, diversifying our portfolio, or reimagining design, I’ve always looked beyond immediate returns to create long-term value. That mindset of creating something enduring, both structurally and emotionally, continues to define how I approach real estate. Buildings may rise from concrete and steel, but their true strength lies in the trust and legacy they uphold.
