Cross-functional teams work together from prototyping to final release, eliminating the traditional gap between hardware and software functions. Shared KPIs maintain consistency in progress evaluation, while structured workflows and integrated tools ensure seamless communication. The biggest challenge arises from the difference in development speed— hardware evolves slowly and impacts cost and manufacturing cycles, while software can iterate much faster. Balancing these contrasting timelines without compromising product stability remains the most demanding aspect of the process.
