Supreme Industries To Acquire Wavin India Piping Unit

The Mumbai-based Indian plastic business, Supreme Industries Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wavin Industries Limited on March 10, 2025, to acquire its piping business in the country. The deal includes Wavin India’s three manufacturing units in Banmore (Madhya Pradesh5), Hyderabad (Telangana) and Neemrana (Rajasthan).

With the acquisition, Supreme Industries will attain ownership of tangible fixed assets, trademarks, intellectual property rights, licenses, contracts, and the workforce associated with the piping business. Supreme Industries will also get exclusive access to Wavin B.V.’s advanced technologies in water supply, sanitation, and climate-resilient infrastructure for India and SAARC Countries for the next 7 years.

Wavin India reported a turnover of over 122 thousand USD for the financial year 2023-24. The acquisition will grow Supreme Industries’s piping division capacity by 73,000 MT per annum. This will improve operational efficiency and increase distribution across North and South India.
It was a major strategic deal valued at $30 million-plus net working capital to expand Supreme’s influence in India’s building and infrastructure sector and become one of the renowned companies. The transaction will likely be completed by June 30, 2025, through a slump sale or share acquisition, subject to regulatory approvals and final working capital adjustments.
