Prime Minister Narendra Modi to issue 70,000 job appointment letters to newly recruited individuals in Rozgar Mela via video conferencing. The PM will also address the candidates at this event.
The Rozgar Mela was introduced last year on 22 October as a campaign to provide 10 lakh government jobs. This year, it is to be held at 45 locations across the country.
The recruiters are selected from across the country and appointed in Central and State Government departments, including Financial Services, School Education, Higher Education, Health & Family Welfare, Atomic Energy Railways, etc., and the positions will be

- Commercial-cum-ticket Clerk
- Inspector of Posts
- Junior Accounts Clerk
- Assistant Section Officer
- Track Maintainer
- Junior Clerk-cum-typist
- Nursing Officers
- Lower Division Clerk
- Sub Divisional Officer
- Assistant Enforcement
- Tax Assistants, Sub Divisional Officer
- Inspectors, and many others.
The Rozgar Mela started to generate more employment, and this year’s session is a step towards fulfilling the commitment of PM Modi. Further, the Rozgar Mela is expected to bring change in employment and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth.
The newly appointed employees will get adequate training through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online orientation course for new appointees in various government departments.
Narendra Modi has consistently given importance to employment generation, and this event is a crucial step toward it. The distribution of more than 70,000 appointment letters in the Rozgar Mela by PM Modi is a significant milestone.
