Tata Group To Open Apple Stores Across The Country 

Indian salt-to-software conglomerate Tata Group plans to open 100 Apple stores across the country, as per the reports. 

Tata Group’s Infiniti Retail, which runs the consumer electronics store chain Chroma, will be an authorised reseller of Apple products and set up stores in shopping malls, high streets, and other neighbour locations, the report said. 

For store space, Tata has begun discussions with premium malls and other building owners. Apple and Tata Group have not yet given the confirmation to it. 

Before this, Tata was in talks to buy Wistron Corp’s only manufacturing facility in India for up to 50 billion rupees ($605 million). Wistron is an electronics manufacturer based in Taiwan. Tata and Wistron were in discussion to set up a joint venture to assemble iPhones in India.

Tata Group is constantly in the limelight for different reasons. A few months back, Tata and Singapore Airlines Ltd. merged to form an Airline company. It was also in talks for its IPO lately. 

With this, Tata Group will become stronger in Indian Industrialist and set a benchmark to have experience in every business sector.
