Amul Tops India’s Most Valuable Food Brands List 

Amul is the most valuable food brand in India, with a value of 4.1 billion. The second-ranked is Mother Dairy, which is based in Delhi-NCR and has a valuation of 1.15 billion. Britannia ranks third, Nandini fourth, and Dabur fifth in the Brand Finance study conducted in the UK.

Dairy product brands continue to maintain their popularity. The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) announced that Amul was recognized as the leading food brand in India, according to the Brand Finance India 100-2025 report. Based on data from PTI, Mother Dairy advanced by one position, securing the second ranking.

Due to this, Mother Dairy has become ranked 35th among the top 100 brands in India as compared to 41st in 2024. Amul, on the other hand, ranked 17 in the top 100 Indian brands.

MD Jayen Mehta and MD Manish Bandlish of GCMMF and Mother Dairy respectively acknowledged that this award is a testament to the dedication and efforts of millions of dairy farmers in delivering quality products to consumers.

Manish Bandlish of Mother Dairy expressed his gratitude to the consumers, farmers, partners and the employees and said: this recognition is yours.

In 2024-25, Mother Dairy has registered a total turnover of around 17,500 crores, which is 16 percent higher than the last year.
