Trident Appoints Pooja B Luthra as Group Chief HR Officer

Trident, a home textile company, has appointed Pooja B Luthra as Group Chief Human Resource Officer. 

Pooja did her Post Graduation in Global Business Operations from Shri Ram College of Commerce and Masters in Organisational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. 

Luthra has two decades of experience in leadership. In her extensive career, she has had the opportunities to drive key people strategies in organisations across countries. She has worked with CXOs in North America, MENA, APAC, helping them build organisations with a strong talent foundation and deploy a holistic talent strategy amidst environmental disruptions. At Trident, she will be reporting to Rajindra Gupta, chairman of Trident Group. 

According to Pooja, she has consulted over 100 organisations worldwide in creating and sustaining a strength-based, engagement focus and performance-oriented culture. Luthra said that in her new role, she would be responsible for the Human Resources Department in Trident Group. She said that she has set three priorities on which she has to work. 

First- To promote technology and digitisation in the HR functions and enable people to be more tech-savvy and adopt digitisation as a way of life. 

Second- Maintaining agility in the workforce so that organisations can adapt to the dynamic and fast-changing environment quickly. 

Third- To establish Trident as an employer brand. 

She wants Trident to be known as a brand not just nationally but also internationally. She wants Trident to be a brand of choice, not just a product. In order to ensure this, the company will focus on attracting and retaining the right talent. 

Luthra said, “The company has a vision of reaching Rs. 25,000 crore revenue by 2025. To meet the target, people and their talent will impact how we grow, including the idea of diversity inclusion and making the company a great place to work. I’m just making sure that we work in the backdrop of everything and enable people to work with full potential”.

Pooja and the company, both, are looking forward to growing together and making the most of upcoming opportunities.
