Zomato Rebrands As Eternal – Introduces New Logo

The Indian multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery company Zomato introduced a new logo on Thursday, February 6, 2025, and shared that it has renamed itself “Eternal.” This move comes after 2 years since the company began using the new name internally.

The Eternal company comprises four major businesses: Zomato, the food delivery company; Blinkit, the quick-commerce unit; District, the live events business; and Hyperpure, the kitchen supplies unit.

Deepinder Goyal, the founder and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Zomato, said in a letter, “When we acquired Blinkit, We started using “Eternal” (instead of Zomato) internally to distinguish between the company and the brand/app. We also thought that we would publicly rename the company Eternal the day something beyond Zomato became a significant driver of our future. Today, with Blinkit, I feel we are there. We would like to rename Zomato Ltd., the company (not the brand/app), to Eternal Ltd.”

As part of this change, the stock ticker switched to Eternal from Zomato, and the corporate website has now changed from zomato.com to eternal.com.
This rebranding marks a change in investors’ opinions over Zomato’s acquisition of Blinkit in 2022. At that time, investors doubted the acquisition but now are convinced and interested in quick-commerce-driven growth.
