Hurun India, in association with Kotak Private Banking, published a wealthy women’s list. Based on net worth as of December 31, 2021, this annual list of India’s wealthiest women entrepreneurs and business leaders. The list functions as a barometer to understand the progress of women-led wealth creation in India.
The collective worth of these 100 wealthiest women has grown by 53 per cent from the previous list. With 2.72 Lakh crore in 2020, it has now jumped to 4.16 Lakh crore. As per this list, these women contribute 2 per cent of Indian GDP.

The richest new addition to the list of India’s wealthiest women is Neha Narkhede, co-founder of Confluent, a data streaming company. The 38-year-old is one place ahead of Vandana Lal, Dr Lal Path Labs. These both are only new members of the list of 10 richest women in India 2022.
