His academic foundation was laid with a bachelor’s degree in technology, specialising in computer science and engineering, from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT BHU), Varanasi. He further sharpened his technical expertise with a Master’s in Software Engineering from BITS Pilani, equipping him with a sound understanding of the technological landscape.

His journey through the ranks of IBM saw him take on various roles, from an engineer to an executive for Global System Integrators and partners of IBM. Before his current role, Gaurav expanded business across emerging markets and established new labs in Ahmedabad and Kochi, significantly contributing to the growth of IBM’s presence in the region.
