Dentsu International’s South Asia CHRO Rohit Suri Resigned

In the last eight days, three top-level executives quit Dentsu International India. The latest name to move on is the company’s South Asia chief human resource officer (CHRO) Rohit Suri, revealed by multiple sources. Rohit has not commented on this scenario yet.

According to the sources close to this development, Suri is to join the major global OTT platform.

Before Suri, Narayan Devananth, the company’s chief client officer, resigned to pursue interests outside the advertising industry. Last week, Sidharth Rao, CEO of dentsuMB Group, announced his departure. A press note released by the company stated that its Indian market would be led by key leaders like Amit Wadhwa, Divya Karani, and Anubhav Sonthalia.

Right now, there are several posts vacant in the firm, the network company still has no CEO. Senior executives of Dentsu India are approaching the head of other networks for jobs.

An impromptu management meeting of the company was scheduled on June 1 by Dentsu’s headquarters to share a few updates. A source indicated that a high-profile exit of Narayan Deveanathan was underway, and there was one more in line (Rohit Suri).

The Indian unit of Dentsu Group Inc has been shaken by a series of senior-level exits since August 2021. Wendy Clark, the global CEO of the company, said that Dentsu International is to understand the plans for getting a CEO for the India Market and the condition of business here.Â
