Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced strategic leadership appointments, with Vyomesh Kapasi taking over as the Head of Products – Consumer Bank and Shahrukh Todiwala stepping in as the Managing Director & CEO of Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited (KMPL).
Announcing the changes, Ashok Vaswani, MD & CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, said, “These appointments underscore the deep bench strength at Kotak and our commitment to fostering leadership talent.” He added, “Vyomesh’s experience and a proven track record in driving growth and innovation will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our consumer products.”

Todiwala, who succeeds Kapasi at KMPL, has been an integral part of the organisation since 1995. Currently leading the Wholesale and Retail Vehicle Finance businesses, he has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and strategy, bringing deep expertise in the vehicle financing sector.
Established in 1985, Kotak Mahindra Group is one of India’s premier financial services conglomerates. In February 2003, its flagship company, Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd. (KMFL), made history as the first non-banking finance company (NBFC) in India to secure a banking license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), transforming into Kotak Mahindra Bank.
