Sridhar Vembu Steps Down As CEO Of Zoho Corporation 

Sridhar Vembu, the founder of Zoho Corp, a business software developing company, has resigned from the post of CEO (Chief Executive Officer). Mr Vembu shared the news on X, writing, “A new chapter begins today. In view of the various challenges and opportunities facing us, including recent major developments in AI, it has been decided that it is best that I should focus full time on R&D initiatives, along with pursuing my personal rural development mission.”

Renowned for his commitment towards sustainable development and the rural economy, Sridhar Vembu will now serve the company as the Chief Scientist and focus only on Research and Development initiatives. 

Sridhar Vembu shared that co-founder Shailesh Kumar Davey will be appointed as the new CEO of Zoho Corp. He discussed the leadership structure with co-founder Tony Thomas, who led Zoho US; Rajesh Ganesan, who handled the ManageEngine division; and Mani Vembu, who controlled Zoho.com. Mr Vembu expresses his enthusiasm for the new role and says Zoho’s future depends on properly tackling R&D challenges. 
According to Fobes, the successful entrepreneur Sridhar Vembu has a net worth of $5.8 billion. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Princeton University. Sridhar Vembu also funds a school for rural children of Tamil Nadu and runs Zoho University. His leadership and strategies to thrive in tough times have contributed to making Zoho one of the most successful private companies in India.
