Reliance Tops India’s Most Valuable Firms List Again

According to reports compiled by Axis Bank’s private banking unit Burgundy Private and Hurun India, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries has become the most valuable company in India with a Mcap(Market Cap) of Rs. 15.64 Trillion. 

The annual edition of Burgundy Private and Hurun 500 is curated based on the data from October 2022 and October 2023, and for this time period, Reliance had the highest mcap for the third time in a row at Rs. 15.64 trillion or $188 billion. 

As the name suggests, the list is a compilation of the 500 biggest companies in India. According to the list, the total mcap of the top 500 companies in India is Rs 231 Trillion or $2.78 Trillion. The list also included the Serum Institute of India, which is the most valuable unlisted company in India.

Top 10 Most Valuable Companies in India

Here are the top 10 most valuable companies in India and their CEOs. You can see that most of the top banks in India made this list. This is the 3rd time Reliance Industries has topped the list and the 3rd time TCS has been 2nd to Reliance.
