The feature is part of the company’s Truecaller for Business platform and enhances the security of business-to-customer communication.
Secure Calls builds upon Truecaller’s Verified Business system by introducing a secure call-signing process. Each business call is authenticated through a backend handshake between the business and Truecaller, ensuring that the caller is a legitimate entity. This helps prevent impersonation and reassures consumers that the call they are receiving is trustworthy.

Calls verified through this feature will be labelled as “Secure Call” in the Truecaller app, accompanied by clear visual indicators. This transparency empowers users to make informed decisions about answering incoming calls and helps reduce the likelihood of fraud.
