JSW MG Motors appointed Anurag Mehrotra as the managing director, bringing three decades of experience in the automotive industry. His previous leadership roles include Vice President of Strategy & International Business at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles and President & Managing Director at Ford Motors.
In his new role, he will oversee the growth and sales of the company. He aims to strengthen the company’s four core pillars: diversity, experience, innovation and community.
“Anurag’s diverse experience and a deep understanding of domestic and international market dynamics will be critical in taking this journey to the next level,” Yu De, Assistant to SAIC President and Head of International Operation, SAIC Motor, said.
“We are at an inflexion point in our NEV journey and are ready to accelerate into a new era with an exciting product pipeline.” JSW MG Motor India Director Parth Jindal said.

The company said that JSW MG Motor India CEO Emeritus Rajeev Chaba will continue to advise management and shareholders as a member of the Joint Steering Committee.
