Raseshwari Devi on World Meditation Day Announces Mega Initiatives

She distinguishes herself among spiritual leaders through her massive contributions to spirituality, youth engagement, and community service. Recently, Raseshwari Devi on World Meditation Day, announced a mega meditation hall and a long-week camp, which are gaining traction and making headlines. These two major initiatives are aimed at promoting meditation, wellness, and youth engagement.

Who is Raseshwari Devi? 

Raseshwari Devi is an Indian spiritual speaker and preacher of Sanatan Vedic philosophy. She is the founder and president of Braj Gopika Seva Mission, a charitable organisation working across India and globally to empower people through spirituality. Raseshwari Devi was born on January 12, 1968, in Bhilai. She pursued studies in Mathematics and English literature before embracing the path of spirituality and devotion. 

Raseshwari grew up in a spiritual family that shaped her connection with faith from the get-go. Her spiritual journey started when she met Jagadguru Swami Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, who is one of the prominent leaders of modern-day spiritual teachings. Today, she has immersed herself in the study of Upanishads and Shri Krishna Bhakti traditions, building the foundation of her teachings.

Recognition for Spiritual Teachings & Community Work

Raseshwari Devi has emerged as a true spiritual leader known for her teaching complex philosophical ideas in a simple and relatable way. She has received recognition for her contributions to spirituality, youth engagement, and community service. Raseshwari Devi has been honoured with various titles and recognitions, including the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Spiritual Ambassador title from the Youth Peace Ambassador organisation, and the Global Peace Award 2022.

It reflects her strong determination and continued awareness of meditation, value-based living, and self-discipline. Raseshwari Devi also focuses on promoting community work across India and internationally. She aims to bridge ancient Indian wisdom and modern lifestyles through youth programmes, meditation, workshops, and community outreach activities. And these two new initiatives are her biggest steps towards that dream.

Early Programmes on Youth & Cultural Development 

Raseshwari Devi programmed the Bal Sanskar Shivir and Yuva Utthan Shivir to build strong moral and cultural values among children and youth of the country. Her initiatives are often compared to modern spiritual movements such as Shri Ravi Shankar’s Art of Living Foundation. 

She has conducted spiritual discourses, meditation camps, youth outreach programs, and social welfare initiatives. Her vision is clear to combine the devotional teachings with youth involvement, meditation awareness, and human-centred services through educational, healthcare, and cultural initiatives.

Recent Initiatives on Meditation & Wellness 

Raseshwari Devi amazed everyone on World Meditation Day 2026 with her announcement of two initiatives: a large yoga meditation hall in Odisha and a week-long meditation camp in Hardidwar. Let’s further discuss these initiatives. 

1. Meditation and Wellness Centre in Odisha 

This is currently under development, with a capacity of more than 1,500 people, and is being built near Tangi in Odisha’s Kurda district, close to Bhubaneswar. The centre is expected to become a major hub for meditation, with ample space for teaching yogic education, hosting spiritual retreats, and supporting wellness-based community activities. 

2. Mega Mediation Camp in Haridwar

The meditation camp is scheduled to be held in Haridwar from June 11 to June 17 2026. It is expected that around 2,500 people, including several international attendees, will participate in the camp. The upcoming week-long camp is set to feature guided meditation sessions, discussions on yoga philosophy, practical wellness workshops, and interactive sessions on integrating meditation into daily life.

Raseshwari Devi on World Meditation Day announced two major initiatives: opening a meditation centre with a 1500-person capacity in Odisha and a long-week camp in Haridwar, which are set to encourage inner peace, faith, and bring values and morals in the lives of the future of our nation, our youth.
