Bengaluru’s tech workforce crosses 1 million among 12 global tech hubs. As per CBRE‘s newly released Global Tech Talent Guidebook 2025, Bengaluru made its strong position as one of the worldwide leading technology hubs, in the list of top-ranked cities, which includes San Francisco, New York and London.
Bengaluru has also become the largest tech talent market in the Asia-Pacific region. It is a major city full of emerging AI talent, giving tough competition to US tech centres. The city’s increasing tech engagement was due to its 12% growth in its powerful startup ecosystem, 28 unicorns and investments in AI, Data science and product engineering.

In 2024, Bengaluru unlocked 140 venture capital (VC) deals worth $3.3 billion, including 34 deals in AI. The presence of the world’s leading universities and Global capability centres is responsible for such brilliant tech talent skilled in data science, engineering, product development, and AI.
